This one goes without a lot of words. We already suspected that he could be a guru, but coming straight from the horse’s mouth, it must be true. Thanks to an Indian tabloid and Red Bull Music Academy, we have the printed proof. But see for yourself…
That’s how it all started … just seen this (maybe already well known) video and having a lot of fun. Starring: Westbam, Jam-El-Mar (from Jam&Spoon and born in Karlsruhe by the way …), Snap, etc. It’s still “kind of” the same than today but see for yourself:
Hiya all you Tits, Twats, Tweets, Followed One’s and Followers,
let’s pretend we’re all already Web 2.0.9. and the future has been sufficiently dealt with yesterday morning. This is my „microblog“ post about one of the most overrated media services on this planet called: Twitter.
In short: it’s a fricking one way road and because of that the most arrogant, self-indulgent ego-tripping platform to date. It’s digital dictatorship. You speak, we listen. You command, we obey. You say jump, but I won’t ask how high, because More … »
Whilest the photoshooting for our new scarfs of Tokyo Black Star on a nice farm at the Lake Constance in South Germany Kristian and Dix discovered a complete new way of earning money: gardening! I expect that if there were vacuum cleaners on which you can sit and drive their flats might be absolutely pristine! Have a look …

Over here in Germany the clever government, fighting the economic crisis like every other nation on this planet, came up with an elaborate concept to save the industry that manufactures what every human cannot have enough of: cars !
It’s called Abwrackpraemie, the closest translation would be wrecking bonus. The concept goes as follows:
Popular DJs like Dixon maybe know the problem of a “bad hair day”. You’ll wake up, have a shower but whatever you try you just can’t fix your hair like it should be. Or a typical problem of mine: a “bad travel day” when you wake up in the morning. Just a bit too late. And you’re missing the right train to the airport because your taxi driver should have been by your flat 3 minutes earlier! etc etc.
But as a live musician in older days there had been “bad tune days”. A problem that todays performers for sure don’t know as ALL electronic devices like computers or plug-ins from today NEVER EVER produce ANY unforeseen problems. NEVER! But those old-fashioned analog synthesizers were not so easy to keep in tune. Many unexpected influences could have affected them to loose their tuning as you can see here: (Sorry, that thevideo can’t be directly included. Just after the message displays click again on the video to watch it on youtube …)
Sorry, another funny movie. But there is just nothing really serious these days. No problems in the world, no financial crisis. It’s gonna be the best year since years! Go for Kraftwurst!
Can’t believe this. Just found that video on Sonic State … A guy can play real drum samples just by hitting himself in front of some microphones! It must be a joke! I already heard about the Drumagog-Plugin but that literally beats everything.
That’s definitely the stuff we need for the next A Critical Mass gig (in Paris, by the way, Feb. 13th). Imagine Kristian beating Dix and it makes a drumsound! Or Henrik shaking his head and a maracas sound will come through the speakers … crazy world, guys.
I’m delighted that you are enjoying my Midem tales. In order to give you more of these and also to make someone here at Innervisions very happy, let me introduce you to the main playgrounds. More … »
I hope you’re doing good. Apologies that I didn’t write earlier.
I just came home from Cannes, France. I was attending Midem, a music fair or what is left of it. My head’s exploding, I have a lot of ridiculous stories going through it. And believe or not, I managed to do some business down there. More … »
