A day in the life of an innervisions employee

Episode II

Good Evening, everybody. (I still hope you are still out there)

Today was a shitty day. But I don’t want to waste your time whining, moaning and being grumpy, because whining is for the majors.

This friend of mine sent me a link to two nice geek products. One is a star wars stormtrooper hoodie. I briefly considered to buy one of these, although I’m usually not into hoodies, but the hood is an identity-protecting mask and that just rocks ! especially if you have to avoid people on your way to work. The second is a hoodie with a built in beer holding pouch. How handy is that ! imagine you’re in a bloody packed club and just bought two beers to survive the mess that surrounds you. You can store one beer in the pouch and hold the other in your hand. (just like the post suggests).

So that might have seduced me to an interesting thought I had the other night. An inflatable do-it-yourself record label set. In pink. My intuition demands it comes in pink. As the music industry is constantly going down and nobody is buying records anyway, I thought it might be a great item to keep the spirit alive and pretend to be living in the good old times, when we were shifting millions of units without being in the office at work. After you’ve inflated it, it becomes a desk with a keyboard & a monitor, a fake calculator and a phone on it. All you need is a place to sit down. You don’t need an internet connection and you don’t have to pick up the phone, simply because it is something that either wasn’t existing back in the day or is completely unnecessary. Like talking to someone on the phone and actually do some work. All you need is a working fax machine to fax the re-orders to your pressing plant. Maybe an additional item would be an inflatable intern to put under the desk - lewinsky style.

I don’t know why, but I have the feeling this would be very useful in the near future. maybe it is also good to think about an inflatable download store ! Sigh ! I know, very lame joke. Low, very low ! but as I have said before: today was a shitty day. Let’s hope that the evening will be soothing.
